Paris Las Vegas Offers Everything For a Weekend Getaway

Paris Las Vegas

Have you ever wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower, see the Arc de Triomphe, and eat at a French Bistro overlooking the gorgeous lake? A beautiful trip to Paris sounds like a dream, but the cost is no dream. (Flights alone can be around $2000+!) If you only have a weekend to get away from San Diego, (although you will miss the opportunity to mingle with Perisians), this same experience is only a one hour flight or five hour drive away, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Paris. Here are my top 5 reasons to pick Paris Las Vegas for your next weekend trip:

Hotel Location Convenience

The Paris Las Vegas Hotel is centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, next to the Bellagio Fountains and across the street from Ceasars Palace. Paris is part of Ceasars Entertainment, so it you’re a VIP at any of their resorts, you can use your points at all of them to get great discounts. There is a walkway that attaches to Bally’s so you can stay inside almost the entire time if you’re going to the neighboring casinos. There are great shops along the way and it’s a great way to beat the heat. The other great way to cool down is their fabulous pool.

Pool Experience

When you stay at the Paris Hotel, you can head out to the pool in the morning and get a great view of Las Vegas’ version of the Eiffel Tower. Sitting back in a lounge chair on a hot Vegas day, especially after a fun night out and about, you can almost imagine you’re in Europe for the day. The pool is very clean and family friendly.

Paris Las Vegas Breakfast

Restaurants

There are a lot of really great restaurants in and near the Paris Hotel, but two that I really want to feature here are my favorite breakfast spot, and my favorite dinner spot. I do not like flying on airplanes, so going to Europe wouldn’t be ideal, but I love coming to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel because I honestly feel like I am right in the center of Paris when I am eating at Le Cafe Ile St. Louis. This cafe has what they call “coffee shop favorites remixed with a French flair” and that description is very accurate. The atmosphere is just what I would imagine Paris is like, and the people visiting Las Vegas make for the best people watching you’ve done in a long time. Make sure to stumble on down to this cafe during your stay at least once. (If you do it every day, don’t feel guilty. I’m quite a regular there each day I’m in town.) For dinner, my favorite restaurant is the Eiffel Tower Restaurant! The elevator ride up to the dining room keeps you in delightful suspense and when the doors open, you get a direct look into the kitchen where chefs are busy preparing delicious meals for the evening.  The bar is very nice and quiet compared to the bars down at the casino level, so for an intimate cocktail setting, this bar is perfect. The views are some of the best views in Las Vegas, possibly only rivaled by the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio and the top of the Stratosphere.

Nightclub Fun

Paris Las Vegas also has a nightclub called Chateau. It is the only nightclub on the strip that you can walk right into and not have to find your way through a maze of casinos to get to the entrance. The club has a large digital screen behind the raised DJ booth, and a rooftop deck where you can take in the view. Doors open at 10:30pm, and if you’re looking for a good time, this nightclub offers it.

Overall Paris is a less expensive place to stay than the Bellagio, Wynn or Ceasars Palace, but still a wonderful experience. Visit Paris Las Vegas for your next weekend getaway and let us know what you think!
