Enjoying San Diego Restaurant Week in 3 Simple Steps

Have the Best Experience at San Diego Restaurant Week

“Some people ask the secret of our long marriage. We take time to go to a restaurant two times a week. A little candlelight, dinner, soft music and dancing. She goes Tuesdays, I go Fridays.” –Henny Youngman

San Diego Restaurant Week

Over one hundred and eighty restaurants are participating in San Diego Restaurant Week from January 21st through January 28th. This semi-annual event attracts hundreds if not thousands of people to local restaurants that produce a special menu for a lower-than-average price. During this week, visitors of these locations get to sample some of San Diego’s local eateries while sticking to a budget. This page gives you a full list of the restaurants that are participating, and an ability to filter through them and find your favorites.

Here is how to experience San Diego Restaurant Week the very best:

  1. Search for a restaurant.
  2. Mention “Restaurant Week” to your server.
  3. Enjoy discounts and delicious local food!

Some of the most well known restaurants in North County San Diego (the area where I live) are participating! Il Fornaio Del Mar, Union Kitchen & Tap, Mille Fleurs, Cucina Enoteca, Searsucker, Sbicca (View my video interview with marketing manager of Sbicca here!) and Pamplemoose Grille are just a few on this list! I have eaten at many of these places and I cannot wait to try their Restaurant Week menu!

San Diego Restaurant Week

There are great deals going on in every corner of San Diego, with drinks from $3 and delicious appetizers to go along with every refreshment! Check out all of the coupons and offers here!  If you are more interested in locally sourced vineyards wineries and other brewing companies that San Diego has to offer, make sure to spend some time at the local vineyards you may not have visited before. My fiancé and I may head out to Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo to seeing all of their best kept secret and the village that is tucked away in the countryside. There is a wonderful brewing company called Helm’s Brewing Company and even Old Harbor Distilling Co. in San Diego’s East Village produces hand crafted spirits using locally sourced ingredients.

San Diego Restaurant Week

If you are going out on the town, or even just breaking from work to have lunch, it is well worth visiting one of the restaurants that are participating in San Diego Restaurant Week. Going straight to the website and searching near your area will save you a lot of time. Trying their special menu created exclusively for this eventful week will save you money. With those two things combined, it is sure to be a good experience. On top of that, I think you may find a few new places that you love!

Post some of your #SDRW photos on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter! We cannot wait to see everyone’s delicious meals, and we will be featuring some of our favorites! Let me know which places you plan to visit, and be sure to follow us on Instagram at @TheSDLifestyle to see daily posts and visits to our local San Diego Restaurant Week favorites!
