Have the Best Experience at San Diego Restaurant Week
“Some people ask the secret of our long marriage. We take time to go to a restaurant two times a week. A little candlelight, dinner, soft music and dancing. She goes Tuesdays, I go Fridays.” –Henny Youngman
Over one hundred and eighty restaurants are participating in San Diego Restaurant Week from January 15th through January 22nd. This semiannual event attracts hundreds if not thousands of people to local restaurants that produce a special menu for a lower-than-average price. During this week, visitors of these locations get to sample some of San Diego’s local eateries while sticking to a budget. This page gives you a full list of the restaurants that are participating, and an ability to filter through them and find your favorites.
Here is how to experience San Diego Restaurant Week the very best:
- Search for a restaurant.
- Mention “Restaurant Week” to your server.
- Enjoy discounts and delicious local food!
Some of the most well known restaurants in North County San Diego (the area where I live) are participating! Market, Union Kitchen & Tap, Mille Fleurs, Cucina Enoteca, Crudo, Sbicca (View my video interview with marketing manager of Sbicca here!) and Pamplemoose Grille are just a few on this list! I have eaten at many of these places and I cannot wait to try their Restaurant Week menu!
There are great deals going on in every corner of San Diego, with drinks from $3 and delicious appetizers to go along with every refreshment! Check out all of the coupons and offers here! If you want to shop locally around San Diego, you can head over to San Diego restaurant week’s website and check out the locally sourced vineyards wineries and other brewing companies that San Diego has to offer. My fiancé and I may head out to Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo to seeing all of their best kept secret and the village that is tucked away in the countryside. There is a wonderful brewing company called Helm’s Brewing Company and even Old Harbor Distilling Co. in San Diego’s East Village produces hand crafted spirits using locally sourced ingredients.
If you are going out on the town, or even just breaking from work to have lunch, it is well worth visiting one of the restaurants that are participating in San Diego Restaurant Week. Going straight to the website and searching near your area will save you a lot of time. Trying their special menu created exclusively for this eventful week will save you money. With those two things combined, it is sure to be a good experience. On top of that, I think you may find a few new places that you love!
