Capital One is reimagining the banking experience with a new concept offering café-style service along with ambassadors to assist with banking needs in San Diego. The new Capital One Café is officially open at Westfield UTC on 4311 La Jolla Village Drive! Watch my video tour through the space to learn more!

A completely new concept in banking to this region, the Capital One Cafe provides individuals a space where they can recharge their bank accounts, devices and lives while learning new ways to manage their finances, try out new digital and financial tools, and grab a cup of coffee.

“At Capital One, we believe consumers deserve a bold bank at their side,” said Patricia Case, West Coast Market Lead for Capital One. “We’re reimagining the banking experience by bringing banking and living together. We know industries are being disrupted by bold technologies and banking is no exception. Customers want a swift, convenient banking experience, and sometimes, they want a personal connection, too. Our Capital One Cafés blend these needs giving individuals the ability to bank on their own terms.”

The Capital One Cafés feature an open design and provide a place where individuals can talk to friendly, savvy ambassadors about reaching their financial goals, managing their everyday money, and plenty more. The San Diego location is approximately 5,229 square feet with two ATMs on premise, three nooks and one meeting room for customers, partners and community members to use for work space. The Café also proudly serves handcrafted espresso, coffee and tea beverages from Peet’s Coffee &
Tea, as well as offer baked goods from local businesses.

People also have the opportunity to:

  • Learn new digital tools through an interactive Demo Bar
  • Engage with Interactive Screens that provide educational money content
  • Utilize free Meeting rooms and Nooks
  • Deposit or withdrawal in any denomination using a Cash-Deposit ATM
  • Participate in complimentary 1:1 Money Coaching or group Money Workshops to plan a path for your future financial goals
  • Use Free Wi-Fi while enjoying a cup of coffee or local baked good

“The concept is a perfect example of how Westfield UTC works to connect with the community and offer not only top tier retail and culinary brands but also engaging places for groups and individuals to work, relax and hangout,” said Westfield UTC General Manager Ryan Perry.
