Golf is one of those funny sports, you can be amazing, and the next round, you look like a beginner all over again. Just when you’ve started to master your drive, some random magical force comes in and changes everything in your body, changing your swing to look like a 5 year old’s swing! But we all know golfing is a healthy frustration, (see 4 health benefits here) and we all aim to get better! Patrick and I are good friends with Geoff Goldstein, a golf coach here in San Diego who utilizes a revolutionary new technology called TrackMan (here’s the full TrackMan scoop!) to help him assess your golfing game and improve your overall score, and trust me, it works.
I know I know, practicing a lot more makes you better no matter what, but have you ever practiced a certain shot for an hour or so, only to find that you really did not improve, and now you’re stuck wondering what is wrong? And also, have you ever had a professional golf coach spend just 30 minutes with you, and help you improve SO much about your game?! Crazy right?! This video shows you a bit about Geoff Goldstein, and his unique coaching method using TrackMan technology!
Geoff works with a lot of corporate executives in the area, so if that’s you, you can trust that by the end of a lesson with Geoff, you will the confidence it takes to have a better round next time you’re doing business with prospective clients and customers. I personally take golf lessons to improve so I don’t look silly in front of my husband who I love golfing with, (well, and to play mini-tournaments like this one) but if you take professional clients out for a round, a lesson can no-doubt help you look better in your business!
At first I was terrified to sign up for a golf lesson. I knew these golf pros had been on courses their entire lives, and even today I barely know what I am doing out on the course. Geoff has helped my game a TON! (Patrick LOVES golf, here’s 5 reasons why..) When Patrick and I went out for a putting lesson with him, he showed us the hard data that we needed to convince us to change our positioning, ball speed, and other variables much more quickly. The TrackMan technology is so fun to work with, getting to see the numbers change with each swing (even though I can’t actually translate the numbers into how to change my stroke…that’s what you need Geoff for!!) His lessons are fun, and he provides full course lessons, as well as driving range and putting sessions. When you want to improve your game, there is really no better person to go to.
Geoff turned pro in 1996 and currently holds records at seven courses, including 60 at Eastlake Country Club, and a 59 at Salt Creek Golf Course, both in Chula Vista. Make sure to schedule your lesson with him soon and I will see you out on the course!
