La Jolla

La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya) is a peninsula about 20 minutes north of downtown San Diego. It is home to about 43,000 residents and is composed of 16 distinct neighborhoods.

Rancho Santa Fe

Carmel Valley

When I moved to Carmel Valley in 2016 from Rancho Santa Fe, I immediately realized how much closer I was to almost everything in San Diego; 2 minutes from the nearest grocery store, and 7 minutes to get to the beach!

Del Mar

Although most people think of the Del Mar Racetrack when they think of Del Mar, this luxury oceanfront community is pretty sleepy most of the year.

Coronado

Coronado is “San Diego’s island” that you can spend all day at without ever wanting to leave! There are over 20 parks in Coronado, complete with a bike path that goes all the way around the island, (which is truly a peninsula since it connects in the South to the Imperial Beach area.)

Solana Beach

Solana Beach is by far one of my favorite places in San Diego. The beach itself is sandy and friendly and there are so many restaurants, shops and fun places to go nearby; the fun times never end.

Encinitas

You could easily consider Encinitas the ultimate surf destination in San Diego. This beachside community offers a multitude of options for catching waves, rays of sun, or a yoga class.

Downtown San Diego

Downtown San Diego is packed with great food and fun! From Padres games to conventions at the Convention Center, to pool top parties at the Andaz to ferry rides across to Coronado, this area of San Diego has so much to offer everyone in town!

Carlsbad

Carlsbad is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a great beach vibe without the thousands of beach-crazed people. Carlsbad is a smaller area of North County San Diego close to Oceanside.
